Raffaele Oriani is a Full Professor of Corporate Finance at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, where he is also an Associate Dean at the LUISS Business School. He was previously a researcher in the Engineering Faculty of the University of Bologna. He earned his doctorate in Corporate Management from the University of Bologna and was a visiting scholar at the University of California at Berkeley and at the Bank of Italy. His articles on issues relating to the financial valuation of intangible assets have been published in leading international academic journals.
He co-authored a textbook, “The Economic Valuation of Patents,” published by Edward Elgar after having participated in a European Investment Bank-funded project on this topic.
He provides professional consulting on corporate valuation and M&A operations. He has acted as a technical consultant to the parties in numerous civil and criminal law cases.
He is currently an independent member of the board of directors of ASR Media and Sponsorship (AS Roma Group).
